New Tasting Room
McCall Vineyards, Cutchogue

By Jane Starwood

A converted barn and stable decorated with old farm tools houses McCall Vineyard's recently opened tasting room. Right off the Main Road in Cutchogue, across from Pellegrini Vineyards, owner Russ McCall's property is home to a zero-carbon wine turbine and a herd of rare Charlois beef cattle, contentedly grazing near his 22 acres of Merlot and Pinot Noir. All but a small plot of his land, which the owner calls “a magical place,” has been preserved from development.
