Long Island Wine & Food Festival 2010
The first annual Long Island Wine & Food Festival, held June 25-27, was a rousing success by all accounts. The overflow crowd at the Grand Tasting, held on Sunday in Mitchell Park overlooking Greenport Harbor, sipped Long Island wines and savored food prepared by local restaurants. The Grand Tasting was preceded by a VIP/media reception at Roanoke Vineyards on Friday evening and special events at participating wineries on Saturday. Judging by the grand time had by all, we can look forward to the second annual Long Island Wine & Food Fest next year.
