Commercial and recreational anglers from Orient Point to Alaska joined forces with government officials, including Congressman Tim Bishop and Senator Charles Schumer, in Washington, D.C. last Wednesday to protest federal catch regulations that have put many life-long fishermen out of business.

Fishing regulations : 3/8/2010
Overfishing can cause irreversible changes in fish populations. Best to let professional scientists at NMFS make these calls not pandering Chucky and Timmy. Gary Bernsten is running against Timmy Bishop. Mr. Bersten is a huge breath of fresh air. Hoping to see both of these guys on the unemployment line where they will do less damage to us all.
