Alleged shoplifters nabbed fleeing T.J. Maxx 4 comments below

Police said Rachel Gebhardt, 25, fled the T.J. Maxx store on Route 58 with stolen items about 4 p.m. and hopped into a gold Nissan Maxima driven by Shalaya Gatlin, 20. The car was later spotted by troopers near the intersection of Route 24 and County Road 51, with smoke trailing from the back tires because Ms. Gebhardt, who police said appeared very nervous, was driving with her emergency brake on. The woman were later identified by the person who reported the theft, police said.
Ms. Gebhardt and Ms. Gatlin were both charged with petit larceny.
